The project seeks to explore the relationship between landscapes and emotional health, with a specific focus on how the environment can impact individuals' psychological well-being. Through a wide range of research is has been proven that the natural environment can have a massive impact on a persons well-being by reducing stress and anxiety, improving mood and increasing cognitive function.
Through the use of environmental film photography, this project has captured and document various landscapes that have been shown to have a positive influence on emotional well-being and represent emotion that people feel on a everyday basis. Using traditional film photography techniques, the project has captured the landscapes in their most raw and authentic form, allowing viewers to connect with the environments and appreciate their positive impact and emotional relatability. Each photograph is thoughtfully composed and edited to highlight the unique characteristics of the landscape, creating a visual narrative that emphasizes the connection between the environment and mental well-being.
